Whether on stage or in front of a movie camera, Fred thoroughly enjoys the rich experience of acting. Over the past few years, he has had the privilege of portraying a variety of distinguished and diverse characters in both venues. Fred has recently become SAG eligible and plans to join the union soon.Besides being part of the cast of a number of independent feature length movies including "Unreal" and the upcoming horror flick, "Special dEaD!" (which has already garnered a great deal of press with Fangoria, Premiere magazine, Horror Movies On-Line and elsewhere), Fred has been tapped by director William Stechman to do some V/O work in "Threading Over Dark," a horror-thriller full-length feature, which is now in post-production. He'll also be portraying Sven, the Swedish Baker in Strap-Off, when it begins filming this March.Never one to sit on his laurels, Fred has ventured into writing screenplays and recently finished writing his first script titled, "Elusive Fear," a full-length suspense/thriller. Fred has also written a short entitled "War's Illusion," and two other full-length features are in the works. He began his own production company - Aroit Films (www.adroitfilms.com) - and hopes to either sell his screenplays outright or produce them as films.Taking on new challenges is nothing new to Fred. If they don't come his way, he'll create his own opportunities. Either way, he doesn't wait for life to happen.
