At the age of 5, Michael was spotted at a local shopping centre by a talent agent while having a 'spat' with his mom. From then, he appeared in several TV commercials (over 100). He honed his skills on stage by taking part in several musical theatre productions, both off-Broadway (in the US) and as part of the Sydney Theatre Company. Michael received his first big role in the cult film "Smaple People", co-starring Kylie Minogue (whom he dated for 6 months) and Ben Mendelsohn. From there, he has worked on various Australian TV Series, such as "The Secret Life of Us" and "MDA". Many directors have commented on Michael's 'versatility' as an actor and his ability to 'transform' into the characters he plays, both mentally and physically. He is currently performing in the Sydney Theatre Company's interpretation of "Hamlet" and plans to travel to LA after its sell-out season, in pursuit of three TV Pilots he has been invited to audition for.
