A Toronto native, Geoffrey Dolman grew up in a very creative family - nephew of Canadian playwright and screenwriter John Mighton - and quickly took up an interest in music and acting. By the age of 13 he was playing first violin in Toronto's All City Youth Orchestra and had acted in several local theater productions, his favourite role being that of Fagin, from the musical Oliver.In his twenties he struggled through various attempts at leaving his creative life behind, including the pursuit of a degree in Mathematics at York University.Becoming increasingly disgruntled and unsatisfied, he made his return to the industry, enroling at the Toronto Film School where he completed his education at the top of his class in the Sound Technology Program.An up and coming re-recording mixer, Geoffrey is currently working on sound design for several local shorts and is in negotiation for his first feature film.
