Steve Antczak was born Stephen Leo Antczak in Salem, Massachusetts. His family moved to Margate, Florida when he turned 7 years old. After high school he attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, but dropped out to pursue his passion (writing). After six years in Gainesville he moved to Atlanta in 1990, where he has lived ever since. He now resides with his long-time girlfriend, Suzi, and their six pets.
