Pete Anthony, a graduate of Williams College and the USC Scoring for Motion Pictures & Television Program, has recently returned as part time faculty to teach orchestration and conducting at USC. In addition to an active music career, he is active in community service serving as a Planning Commissioner for the city of Malibu, and as a Little League baseball coach.Pete credits composer Daniel Gutwein, orchestrator Albert Harris, and legendary composer/conductor/pianist Artie Kane as his most influential mentors, and is grateful to Dan Foliart for giving him his first job in Hollywood (on "Paradise" (1988) [TV-series 1988-1990]). He has enjoyed conducting and orchestrating for many great film composers including James Newton Howard, Danny Elfman, Marc Shaiman, Christopher Young, John Debney, John Powell, Marco Beltrami, Theodore Shapiro, Christophe Beck, and Teddy Castellucci, amongst others.Pete resides in Malibu, California, with his wife and 3 children.
