After obtaining his Master's Degree from the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, Guy moved to Japan where he began his career as an Industrial designer for the Sony Design Center in Tokyo. His most original designs are still exhibited today in the Wakita Museum in Tokyo, the Tanashima Gallery and the Design Museum in London. In 1993, Guy was hired as an Art Director by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) and he eventually moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in film design.








After studying at the Royal College of Art in London and working as an Industrial designer in Tokyo for Sony, Guy moved to San Francisco to join ILM and pursue a career in films. In 2002 Guy production designed his first feature film, "X2: X-Men United" for Bryan Singer, followed by "The Brothers Grimm" for director Terry Gilliam. He currently splits his time between Europe and the U.S. and some of his work can be seen in the Design Museum in London and the Wakita Museum of Art in Tokyo.
