Jeffrey Fellin was born in Oakland, California, his father was a veteran of WWII in the South Pacific and an aerospace engineer. Both his mother and father raced sports cars in southern California. He spent his teen years in Colorado and performed music and theater at Evergreen High School. After his first year at the University of Northern Colorado as a voice major his instructor recommended he become a motorcycle mechanic. Instead Jeffrey joined the Air Force as a Security Police K-9 handler. After his tour in the Air Force he attended the University of New Hampshire and worked in the Cosmic Ray laboratory as a technician during the day and attended classes at night. Upon graduation he went back to Colorado and worked for Coors until a layoff in 1986. Being too old to be a pilot in the Navy or Air Force he went into the Army, under the agreement he attend their Basic Training. Stationed at Ft. Riley Kansas Jeffrey flew missions all over the US as well as Europe and the Middle East including a combat tour during the 1990 Gulf War. He finished his military career in the Missouri Army National Guard. While on a NATO peacekeeping mission in 2003 Jeff found his acting coach by searching the Internet and discovering his studio was across the street from his house. Since returning from the Balkans he has been cast in several films and done voice over work. His skills as a 1st AD are in frequent demand by local independent filmmakers in the Kansas City area.
