Unsatisfied with conventional filmmaking, Alex Ferrari decided to acquire as much knowledge about the art and craft of storytelling as he could. Coming from a post production background, this versatile director combines his passion for storytelling and his post-production experience with a unique visual style.Raised in New York, now stationed in South Florida, Alex has become not only one of region's most sought after editors, but also one of its premiere commercial directors. Alex has edited two feature films as well as editing, post supervising, and directing over 300 commercials. Alex has not settled for just directing and editing. With his production company The Enigma Factory Inc. he has entered the world of producing as well.Currently he is producing the bold new documentary by indie filmmaker Anthony Gilmore called _Behind Forgotten Eyes (2007)_, wrote, produced & directed the short film Daddy's Home (2006), the feature film Red Princess Blues (2007), which his is also writing and directing, and developing the feature film version of Broken (2005/I) with Jorge F. Rodriguez.Alex has also opened a visual effects company called Numb Robot which targets the independent film community as well as doing high-end television commercials and movie promotions.
