Holds a BFA degree from the University of British Columbia in theatre. Became friends with Russell Crowe while they were filming 'Mystery, Alaska' and subsequently helped provide background vocals for "Gaslight", the CD Crowe produced with his band "Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts".
