J. Todd Harris is president of production for IPW (Intellectual Properties Worldwide). The company owns or shares the remake rights to over 200 film and television titles, many of them branded. Prior to IPW, Todd was the president of Davis Entertainment Filmworks, the independent film arm of Davis Entertainment. While there, he produced 23 films, ranging in budget from $500,000 to $40 million. These include three Sundance Film Festival entries, two Toronto Film Festival entries and one award-winning Cannes Film Festival selection. His most recent film titles are 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover (2004) (Tribeca Film Fesival 2004), Knots (2004) (SxSW 2004), The Burial Society (2002) (opened Summer 2004), Latter Days (2003) (opened winter 2004), 29 Palms (2002), Devil's Pond (2003), and Happy Hour (2003) (opening fall 2004). He recently produced At Last (2005) (starring Kelly Lynch and Martin Donovan) and Supercross: The Movie.Originally from New York, Todd earned his BA and MBA from Stanford University. In between degrees he served as managing director of the Palo Alto-based repertory theatre company TheatreWorks. Todd is a member of the producers branch of the Motion Picture Academy. He is married to songwriter Amy Powers, with whom he has two young sons, Jasper and Cole.
