Although born in Germany, he lived in Pittsburgh/Pennsylvania until he was ten. He then returned to Germany. Son of actress Agatha Calvelli-Adorno. Engaged to Tina Bordihn. Studied acting at the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar in Vienna from 1979 to 1982. Lives in Cologne and Los Angeles.
