Michael Kehoe was born in Brooklyn, New York. His parents Elizabeth and Harold moved the family upstate to Ithaca in 1972, where he was deeply involved in theater, producing and directing at 16 years old. He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1979 as an actor. His first job in Hollywood was an assistant to Sylvester Stallone on Rocky IV (1985). Michael worked in production and in 1994 he directed a short film titled Second Dance (1994), which became an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival. Prism Pictures approached Michael to direct an action adventure script he wrote titled Dominion (1995) in 1995. He formed Taughannock Entertainment and has produced and directed several films such as "Detour" (producer/director) and The Art of a Bullet (1999) (writer/producer/director). After working on location in New Zealand, Michael developed a superhero called "The Dark Agent", and in 2004 he developed the graphic novel with Frank Woodward. Michael wrote a short script for a presentation film to help boost the graphic novel. The short film, The Dark Agent and the Passing of the Torch Chapter 7 (2004), was the official selection at the 2004 Comic Con Film Festival. It went on to several other film festivals within the U.S.Michael developed wrote and directed television show for the Food Network with Frank Woodward titled: "Catering Impossible". The show follows the adventures of Frank (owner of For Stars Catering). The show was a top rated special for the Network.
