As a first grader, he won a piano contest and starred in his first dramatic lead role in a school play. In the second grade, he won a city-wide art contest. In junior high and high school, he sang in school musicals and toured with his church and school choirs.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, but his family moved to Los Angeles when he was very young.

He is currently working on selling his first album, featuring mostly acoustic Indy with an emphasis on soul and blues.
