Corey Kotler was born and raised in Bayside, Queens, New York. During his freshman year at Nassau Community College he broke into standup comedy. He performed at such legendary New York venues as The Bitter End, The Village Gate and the Apollo Theater in Harlem. In 1991, he made an unorthodox television debut by bamboozling Howard Stern into believing he was an actual authentic Hassidic Rabbi, Rabbi Chaim Goldwasser. Rabbi Goldwasser debuted on an episode of 'the Howard Stern Show' on WWOR TV. Stern went as far as to have 'the Rabbi' picked up in a limousine and driven to the studio. In 1992 he relocated to Chicago to study improvisation with the legendary Second City. While in Chicago, he was cast as an original member of the hit play, Tony and Tina's Wedding. After a year with the company, he decided to move back to New York and finish college. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting at Long Island University. While attending college he was cast as mob underboss Boone Kelly, in his first full length feature, 'Unsavory Characters.' Since then, Corey has gone on to do a number of national TV commercials and independent films. He's currently residing in Southern, California, awaiting a call from Steven Spielberg.
