Fernando Lara / Biography

Formed the underground 80s rockgroup The Blind with fellow bandmate, film director, producer and actor Christian Mcintire.
Graduated from the High School of Performing Arts (Booker T. Washington) in Dallas, Texas in 1982.
Graduated from Booker T. Washington High School with fellow classmates Edie Brickell and Depak Pallana.
Has an I.Q. of 160.
Was the drummer for the underground rock group The Blind.
Although possessing an IQ of 160, Fernando ranked last in his high school graduating class. When asked about this several years later, Fernando remarked, "I didn't review for the test".
Used to hang out at the Cosmic Cup coffee shop on Oak Lawn Avenue in Dallas, Texas. The coffee shop was owned by for classmate Dipak Pallana and his father Kumar Pallana, the same coffee shop frequented by friends, Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson and Wes Anderson.
Was in the Booker T. Washington High School chess club with Dipak Pallana.
Often confused for actor-comedian George Lopez.
