Born on March 23rd 1978 in Miami, Florida, Mario is the son of Mario and Teresita Lavandeira. A proud Cuban-American, Mario was raised in Miami, Florida. He has one sibling, a sister, Barbara Lavandeira, born June 14th 1984. Mario graduated With Honors from New York University. He received a B.F.A. in Drama from The Tisch School of the Arts in May 2000. Mario resides in New York
