James Barry / Biography

Born somewhere in southern California to non-immigrant parents, James Michael Barry has always enjoyed his status as "first-born". At an early age he achieved success by playing the French horn, but it wasn't until he formed his first "rock-and-roll" band, the Reiterators, that his career really took off. During a brief flirtation with higher education, James met John Wesley Whitton, who's nearly blind faith in him resulted in their working together on three films at Chapman University. James continues to write music for independent films, hoping one day to work on one with a music budget. At press time, he numbered among his goals "writing a hit song or two" and "being successful enough in the music field to purchase food and shelter." He currently lives in Southern California with his dog, Buddy Boo.
