Sergio Basañez / Biography

Sergio Basañez, was born on May 4 1970, in Poza Rica, Veracruz, Mexico. He has a brother named, Carlos, and a sister named María de los Angeles. Besides from being an actor, he is also a lawyer. His first big role was in 1992's _"Sueños de Amor" (1993)_. In 1998 he did an excelent job in "Mentira, La" (1998)_. In 1999 he went to TV Azteca, and starred with Silvia Navarro in _"Catalina y Sebastian" (1999)_, _"Calle de las Novias, La" (2000)_, and his most excellent work to date, "Cuando seas mía" (2001), which is a remake of "Café con Aroma de Mujer". He is now starting in "Nuevo amor, Un" (2003), alongside Vanessa Acosta as Isabel, and Karen Senties as Valentina Méndez.
