Started in radio in 1973 in Vermillion South Dakota, moved to Rapid City (KKLS) then Jacksonville, Florida (WAPE). Emigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1975 to work at 1050CHUM. In 1983 began television career at CFMT as host of the first successful video show in Canada, Video Singles. Moved to CityTV to start a daily live video show in 1984, Toronto Rocks (400 episodes). Did specials for CBC (In Fashion). Migrated to California in 1987 and by 1989 had landed co-host role ( with Heidi Bohay) on After Hours, a Playboy/Worldvision co-production) a nightly half hour variety magazine which lasted 135 episodes. When the series ended he became one of the original anchors on E! Entertainment Television. In 1991 he moved back to Canada and hosted Lunch Television for CityTV (400 episodes), a daily, live hour at noon, where he interviewed everyone from psychics to ethnobotanists to Julia Child. In 1996 he became a Canadian citizen and holds dual citizenship status. Moved back to the States in '99 and continued his radio career as Program Director and Morning host at Q101. In 2002 moved to Charleston, SC as Program Director and Afternoon Host at WCOO.
