Native-New Yorker and entertainment professional - Gregori J. Martin began his career at the age of 15, as an actor in The Question? an original play on AIDS & HIV Awareness, performed at PepsiCo. Headquarters in Purchase, New York, where he earned his first award for distinguished achievement. After receiving rave reviews for his performance in this production, the newcomer actor was invited to perform in yet another AIDS & HIV original play, Risky Business, with the Intimate Realities Players, a popular touring company based out of Westchester County, NY. Gregori gladly accepted, and he soon began touring with the group throughout New York and to the Canadian Border.Realizing he had the creativity for writing and producing Gregori soon became a co-writer for the IR Players.Shortly thereafter, Gregori left the touring company to pursue his craft as a producer, writer, director in the world of television and film.He wrote and independently produced his first TV-Pilot, titled "Challenges" followed by Deliver Us From Evil, an Indie Sci-fi Hoaxed Documentary, promoted at Madison Square Garden through the New York International Film & Video Festival.Shortly following, Gregori was then pleased to collaborate with an all-star soap cast and crew in "Waterfront" a SAG experimental project that was filmed on location in his hometown, Yonkers, NY. This pilot was directed by Soap Vet, Lisa Brown and starred various past & present soap actors, including Emmy winner Scott Reeves. It also starred television actor Jon Huertas, and Salsa sensation Kevin Ceballo of Universal Records. A segment of the pilot was featured on SOAPNet's Soap Center in 2003 and 2004.In 2006, Gregori directed, wrote, and produced 3 feature films, MARy, a horror film based on the urban legend Bloody Mary, shot on location in Los Angeles County, Taken For Granted, another horror film shot on location in New London, CT, and the motion picture dramedy, Manhattanites, co-directed by Darnell Williams (Segmenting Director for ABC Daytime) and starring several stars from All My Children and One Life to Live.In 2007, Gregori directed Skeletons in the Desert, starring Meadow Williams, Ezra Buzzington, hip-hop artist, Lil' Zane and many others. He is currently in production of the psychological suspense thriller Jack Rio, starring Matt Borlenghi, Mary Kate Schellhard, Sean Kanan, Nadia Bjorlin and more.Other self-produced projects in the past several years include The Taste of Drama (2002) and The Taste of Horror (2005), promo videos to help young aspiring actors create a demo-reel. And in the spring of 2005 he made his directorial debut for the stage with Crucify! a self-written original play on the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth.Focusing more on the acting side of things, Gregori has played lead roles in various Indie Shorts, such as The Hole, Negro Spiritual (screened at The Spike Lee Screening Room, NYC), Smoke Gets in Your Eyes (screened in Lincoln Center, NYC) and most recently the shorts Waking and Amour (screened at Warner Bros. Studios, LA). He appeared in the hit HBO Original Series, OZ, NBC's Law & Order, and the short-lived FOX series, The Street, starring Jennifer Connoly. He can be seen as a terrorist in Portrait of Courage: The Untold Story of Flight 93, a docudrama available at your local video store and on Netflix, and aired in 2006 on PAX-TV. He also recently appeared as a police officer in several episodes of ABC's General Hospital. Gregori also played a lead character in the romantic comedy, Amber Sunrise. The Independent feature is currently in film festivals through-out Southern California and he made a cameo appearance in MARy, played a supporting role in Taken For Granted, and a lead role in Manhattanites as Charlie Dean.
