Casper Martinez first appeared on screen as C.O. Vilar alongside Danny Hoch, Mary J. Blige and Q-Tip in the feature, "Prison Song". Casper just wrapped production of "Carlito's Way-Rise to power" as Colorau from 105th, Carlito's (Jay Hernandez) best friend. Also cast in the feature are Mario Van Pebbles, P. Diddy and Luis Guzman. Casper recently finished the upcoming feature "El Vacilon-The Movie" a feature inked by the popular New York morning radio show personalities Luis Jimenez and Moonshadow from Mega 97.9 FM scheduled for theatrical release in late 2005.In 2002, Casper's lifelong love for films shone through in "Manito", an independent film in which he co-produced and starred in as Enrique. A surprise hit at Sundance, "Manito" garnered the Best Ensemble Cast in a Feature Award and since then has picked-up over 12 awards at film festivals around the globe to include Tribeca's Best Emerging Filmmaker Award. This indie feature helped launch Franky G.'s career.In addition to film, Martinez showcases his comedic talent as a writer, producer and actor on the small screen. In 2002-2004, Casper produced and served as special correspondent on the award-winning national program "Urban Latino TV" and produced BET Jazz Network's "Viva America". Past television credits include "The Rosie Perez Show" (HBO Downtown Productions) as staff writer and Telemundo' comedy series "WEEPA" which he wrote, produced and acted in.He currently resides in New York City.
