Sean Michael Afable was born on November 20, 1988, into a multi cultural family. Sean has a large extended family, with 17 first cousins and even more uncles and aunts. Sean's parents noticed at age 3, that he was a very gregarious and outgoing kid. During his brother's elementary school choir performance, Sean decided he must join them. The music director allowed him to audition and Sean became the youngest Choir Mascot.Sean is a veteran Hip-Hop-dancer and an aspiring Break-dancer, with moves that have amazed his friends and family. Sean also enjoys singing and is an alumnus of the All American Boys Choir.Over the years Sean has studied acting with many of Hollywood's top acting coaches and is currently studying with Steven G. Lowe at The Actors Room ( www.TheActorsRoom.com ). His passion extends to Film, TV, Voice Over, Theater, Singing, and Dance.Sean's Television credits include Disney Channel's "That's So Raven" and "Phil of the Future", Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" and "Zoey 101", as well as CBS's "Cold Case" and NBC's "Days of Our Lives". Sean also has an impressive list of voice-over credits, which include an Animated Series for Disney.Look for Sean in the role of Dylan Chui in the Lions Gate Feature Film, "Akeelah and the Bee", starring Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne, premiering April 28th, 2006.Sean balances acting with the life of a typical teenager, and soon after his 16th birthday he got his drivers license. Sean also just recently graduated from highschool in November and has just started taking classes at his local college. Sean enjoys spending time with his Mom, Dad, older brother Robby, his friends, and the rest of his family. He is an active member of his Church Youth Group. Sean loves the outdoors and enjoys body boarding, body surfing, surfing, snowboarding, driving, paintballing, camping, mountain biking, playing guitar, drawing, singing, dancing, and working on the tree house that he built with his Grandpa.
