Chris Northrop was born in Brooklyn, New York, December 13th 1981. He has been an artist since his youth. He is currently a working cartoonist and filmmaker, with several projects in development including film and print mediums.He attended Kean University, and left school in his senior year to take on a career in the entertainment industry in New York City. His first feature film, an animated cartoon, Day of the Pigman is scheduled for release later this year. He serves as writer, voice actor, and co-creator. These duties are also shared by Mark Tordik, long time friend and co-creator.Chris moved to California in 2006 to work on season 1 of Kinzai Ninjas for Beatbox Giant and Atomfilms.

He first job was with The Animation Collective in NYC as a cartoon background painter for a Nickelodeon shows.Chris moved to California in 2006 to work in the trenches of the animation industry in Hollywood and Burbank, where he has enjoyed a successful career.
