Tim Bennett grew up in Detroit, Topeka, Kansas, Hobbs, New Mexico and Phoenix. He sold his first joke to the National Enquirer at age 12. He attended Central High School in Phoenix and there he played bass in The Flatworms with singer/songwriter Andy Creighton. He attended the University of Arizona, where he performed in a college sketch comedy troupe whose membership has included Graham Elwood, Paul Goebel, Michael Hartigan, Peter Murrieta, John Nelson, Bob Rubin, Ted Sroka and Micah Wright.He worked at the famed improvizational theatre The Second City in Chicago as box officer, receptionist, archivist, home theatre installer, stage manager, assistant director, director of television and interactive development, creative consultant and a writer and director of short films and TV pilots. He formed Chickenface Productions with fellow comics Jim Bruce, Graham Elwood and Paul Goebel.As a writer, he has collaborated on with Romie Angelich, Mike Ansbach, Mark Borman, Jim Bruce, Tony Dimond, Graham Elwood, David Nadelberg, Dave Sheridan, Eric Spitznagel, Walker Uhl, James T. Volk and Jeffrey Ray Wine. He is a partner in Chickenface Productions with fellow comic Graham Elwood.
