A native '5 boro' New Yorker, Steve was born in the South Bronx, later moving with his family to Staten Island. Steve got his first taste of acting in 2nd grade as the Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard Of Oz". Later he studied with legendary director Herbert Berghof at the famed HB Studio.Early on in his stage career, Steve worked with Norman Mailer, Shelley Winters & Penney Allen at The Actors Studio. Steve also worked with award-winning actors/mentors William Hickey, Sandy Dennis, Anne Jackson, Donna deMatteo at HB Studio, where he continues to work and hone his craft today.
