When not acting, Timothy Bentinck is an inventor, computer programmer and composer. He has invented (and patented) a device called "Hippo", a little saddle for carrying a child on the hip.
Accepted award with Felicity Finch, on behalf of The Archers radio programme which won The Radio Personality Award at The Variety Club Showbusiness Awards 2002.
