I met and became friends with Vincent in 1987. My ex-husband played for the NY Mets and Vincent was a big baseball fan. I met him through a publicist friend of ours. Vincent would go to games with me and sit in the family section. He was very sweet and down to earth. A really good guy. Not Hollywood at all. It was funny that all the actors and musicians wanted to be athletes and all athletes wanted to be actors and musicians! We kept in touch via Christmas cards for several years. With us all relocating so often, we eventually lost current addresses. I am sure he is the same good guy today that he was then. I wish him all the success in the world!
