Paul Telfer portrayed a most humanly complex, genuine, handsome, both vulnerable and strong, sometimes overconfidently boyish Hercules who gradually evolves into a man and hero but unlike the Hollywood version of him. He is better. All cast were great but I was bewitched when I saw him, the title-hero, he did a great, demanding, charming part. Besides his most impressive looks, I admire his commitment to the art of movies. It takes courage and stamina to be an actor. Love his accent and the fact that he seems to be more than a big guy with great looks... he's smart, educated and determined.
Hope the Hollywood star-system does not turn him into your typical type-casted hero... I wish I could see that BBC Tv show he plays in HOTEL BABYLON. Do you know about that? probably yes...
