Who is Todd Turquand, I've never heard of him. Turquand is a rare name that has it's origins in France. The family name came to England after the st.bartholew's day massacre 1572. fleeing the catholic's with the rest of the Huguenots (as usual the church has a lot to answer for ?).The name became ceremonious with insurance in London (Turquand St in London). As i said at the beginning the name is rare , to my knowledge there is only half a dozen families in England, and i've haven't heard of any anywhere else. So was surprised to find this page about Todd an American who i can only assume is a distant cousin.
