I went to Ad-Libs a couple of weeks ago and found out he doesn't play there anymore. It broke my heart. It just wasn't the same for me.

Kurt Basa is a douchebag who thinks he's funny, but he's not. He is also a manipulative liar who gets off on gossip and childish behavior. I know this because I had the extreme displeasure of working with him at BoConcept in Santa Monica.
