Creed - One Last Breath (Video Clip)

One Last Breath" is a 2002 single by the band Creed. The song centers around a man who, with his last breath, is trying to hold on to life and to the things he holds dear.
The song is also part of a Chris Berman "Bermanism" nickname on ESPN when, back in October 2005, Berman referred to Chicago White Sox third baseman Joe Crede as Joe "Six Feet From The Edge" Crede, as a reference to the main chorus line of the song and the closeness of Crede's last name to the name of the band.
"One Last Breath" also has become a widespread song for many beginning and intermediate guitarists. Its simple, open string introduction with low fret numbers, combined with hammer-ons and pull-offs and double notes present a good teaching tool for students.

Super Bowl Kansas City
In 1992 and 1993 I proposed ideas to the NFL Owners, GM's and Coaches to bring back Instant Replay in a modified form and to allow cold weather NFL cities like Kansas City to host Super Bowls. In 1993 I also sent all my proposals the media in the NFl cities as well. I had the buttons I'm wearing made as part of the package I sent out. One button is for Instant Replay, one for Cold Weather Super Bowl sites. I received many great letters from Owners, GM's, Coaches, NFL Officials, Bob Costas, Chris Berman and even the mayor of San Francisco who was putting together support to host a Super Bowl at the time. I was on Sports Radio in NYC, Cleveland and Seattle and also on TV in this interview on March 7, 1993 on the Kansas City Sports Machine. This is part of the interview and it was a great experience and a lot of fun. It was a lot of hard work and time those two years but it was worth it. I am happy that Instant Replay came back and maybe one day, as the Chiefs have stated their desire to host a Super Bowl recently, maybe a Super Bowl will come to Kansas City. If I had a part in having the idea come to light, that would be great. The whole idea was to have these two ideas spoken about by the NFL and all the teams. From the letters I received I do believe I kept the Instant Replay discussion alive and I am happy that at this year's owner's meeting (2007) they made Instant Replay permanent. I believe I planted the seed for Cold Weather Super Bowl sites and if it ever happens I'm glad I brought the discussion to light.
