Blue Man Group Lego Animation
A music video of Blue Man Group Legos doing BMG things and a band playing barrels and scorpions (lol) to a song mix I made.
Since you're still reading...i'll let you in on some more inside information lol. This lego animation took me about 30ish hours to make. That includes the filming, editing, sound, etc.
The heads, you might notice, are different colors. One of them is blue (it originally was blue too with a little computer thingy on the front which you can see at 0:51), one is a greenish blue (a normal yellow head before) and one is a dark blue (a white skeleton head before). Anyways after using a blue sharpie on the yellow one i thought it was a little greenish so i tried a skeleton head which turned out as a dark blue. I have only a few skeleton heads though so i just stuck with the greenish blue one as the third "blue lego" head.
In the animation, there were a few flubs/bloopers. Some of them are a little minor, but you probably hadn't noticed them.
The first one was that during the 0:15-0:18 time period the lego band isn't playing at all. I originally did this to save time and thought no one would see it, but since i'm saying this now people will see it lol.
Another was 0:36-0:39. If you look closely at the drumming blue lego you can see a zipper and some other stuff on the front of his shirt. For all of the blue legos i had to flip their shirts/arms around for a lot of shots because they had either armor, or a police outfit on them. Drumbone was the hardest thing to make animation wise because the lego pieces would not stay in the legos' hands for some reason. Since i was so concentrated on the drumbone, i forgot to flip the blue lego's shirt.
Third was at the airpoles section during 0:53-0:55. The right blue lego jumps forward a few bricks during that segment.
Well, there is a little "director's commentary" for the blue man group lego animation lol.
