Paul John Teutul, Sr.[1], (May 1, 1949 in Yonkers, New York), is the founder of Orange County Ironworks and Orange County Choppers. Teutul works along with his sons Paul Teutul, Jr. and Michael Teutul, who became celebrities when Orange County Choppers became the focus of a reality television series called American Chopper in 2002.

Celebrities Grant Kids' Wishes for Make-A-Wish Campaign

For over two decades, the Make-A-Wish FoundationĀ® has granted the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. With the help of generous donors and nearly 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has grown into the largest wish-granting charity in the world, fulfilling more than 150,000 wishes since inception through its 69 chapters in the United States, Guam and Puerto Rico.
As the organization prepared to grant its 150,000th wish, it launched Destination Joy(SM) Presented by LAY'SĀ®. The nationwide call-to-action is designed to inspire and empower Americans to share their much-needed time, talents and resources to grant the wishes of the 100,000 children who will be diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions over the next four years. The stars of American Chopper, Paul Teutul Sr., Paul Teutul Jr. and Mikey Teutul, joined Destination Joy to help kick off the campaign. Over the past three years, the Teutuls have made nearly 50 wishes comes true.
