Booker is a humble guy, claiming he's simply average and "nothing special." But the reality is he's right up there with Ghandi, JFK, Martin Luther King, Jr., and John Lennon. The man is a legend is his own time. We all should be grateful we breathe the same AIR as him! Chris Booker combats douchebaggerie daily by interviewing pop stars with egos that don't match their talents. It takes a real man to swallow his pride like that. Book is just cool as a cucumber, man. When Booker is not freeing Tibet and educating children on the global warming issue, he finds time to host a morning talk show on Philly's Q102. Booker recently celebrated a birthday. Though he spent the night drunk, he woke up the next morning to save a dying kitten and tended to a wounded hummingbird. Much like the legend of Babe Ruth, who once promised a dying boy he'd hit a home run, Booker promised an elementary school he'd finally broadcast a show that was just slightly above mediocre. Always a man of his word, Booker came through for the youngsters, delivering a solid 6 of a show. There were no rappers battling on the corners of Haverford, PA, only a kid with a dream of growing up to be a professional stuntman, and a rapper. In addition to these amazing feats, Booker also does a humorous talk show with wacky regulars that is sometimes interrupted by douchebag celebs plugging their substandard product. 	Arizona Fall League: Team USA hosts Phoenix Desert Dogs Team USA, our nation's effort to compete on the global stage in The Olympics and other tournaments, is participating in a week's worth of Arizona Fall League games as a tune up for the IBAF World Cup in Taiwan. Team USA hosted the Phoenix Desert Dogs, and walked away with a 3-2 win with Dodgers' prospect Andy LaRoche the hero with the glove and bat. He drove in the winning run with a double in the bottom of the 8th, with Nationals reliever Chris Booker coming in for the save. This lengthy game clip features LaRoche and other 2008 Rookie of the Year hopefuls. Included in that mix are Colby Rasmis (Cadinals), Evan Longoria (D-Rays), Delwyn Young (Dodgers) and Andrew McCutchen (Pirates). Other players in the clip include a pair of Phillies prospects, Josh Outman (what a perfect name for a pitcher) and Jason Jamarillo (catcher). 	Big Junk by Chris Booker This is an early demo of The Black Eyed Peas' hit song "My Humps," when Q102 DJ Chris Booker was auditioning for the lead singer role. In a never-before-heard clip, Booker shows why he stuck to DJ-ing and not singing. Months later, Fergie replaced the Bookerman, changed "Big Junk" to "My Humps" and the rest is awful pop history. But the good news for Bookerman is that he still has his rabid fanbase and didn't need any of the other Black Eyed Peas.
