From Danish director Hans Fabian Wullenweber comes Cecilie, a supernatural thriller that resonates with nail biting suspense. Just out of psychiatric care Cecilie (Sonja Richter), a newly instated school teacher, must confront her own memories of a recent rape and find the strength to stop a serial murderer in hopes of freeing herself from the ghostly presence of a child demanding justice.
Having just moved into a new house Cecilie and Mads (Claus Riis Ăstergaard) are hoping for a new start after Cecilie's recent stint in a psychiatric ward as the victim of a violent rapist. But when Cecilie begins teaching at a new school, disturbing visions of a young girl being brutally attacked reawaken her own traumatic experiences.
Distressed, and with no one believing her, Cecilie realises the visions are far more real than she could have imagined as the ghost of the girl begins to demand Cecilie's help in bringing to justice the man responsible for her death. Struggling against her husbands attempts to have her recommitted and the onslaught of her own demons, Cecilie begins to realise that the supernatural manifestation has bought her to a horrifying crossroads and that her only chance of survival lies in unearthing the serial murderer before he strikes again.
