I had to re-arrange the scenes of the dialogue between Commodus and Maximus a bit to match them to the music and the dialogue of the track. Hope you enjoy this clip from this magnificent Ridley Scott movie with one of the best scores Hans Zimmer ever composed. It's a shame he lost the Academy Award to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon :-\

Tribute to Gladiator (hans zimmer tribute)
I made a tribute to my most favorite movie ever: Gladiator. I tried to make my video as good as possible. I did the timing as perfectly as I could. I tried to use emotion as much as I could. I only used music from the movie. So, it's also a tribute to the soundtrack. Hans Zimmer did a great job and should've gotten the oscar for 'Best Score'.

Hans Zimmer - Action!
If it comes to action music used in movies, in my oppinion and in those of many others, Hans Zimmer is the one to call. Think at the chilling themes in Pirates of the Caribbean and many other movies.
There are a few movies - done by Zimmer - that really flash out. For me they are:
Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, Batman Begins, The Rock and Drop Zone.
As much as possible, I cut out the action music from these films and mixed them all together in this one youtube clip. I'm sure you will notice wich piece of music belongs to wich movie.
