A Rake's Progress: Thomas Mann's 'Felix Krull'
In this 1982 adaptation of 'Bekenntnisse des Hochstaplers Felix Krull' ('The Confessions of Felix Krull, Confidence Man'), Mann's last work (left incomplete at the time of his death in 1955), is given a more classic comic finale - the reuniting of separated lovers ... Krull, played almost perfectly by John Moulder-Brown, is a picaresque hero who continually uses his charm, good looks and street-smarts to raise his social status - here, he is stopped short in seducing young Zouzou by her mother ... he then brings Zouzou and her lover together, and in a somewhat elegiac manner, is seen flying away in a hot air balloon - his new moral awareness an ascendancy over his often rakish past...

Missing_ Maeve Video
Please read:
This is another video about Maeve from Adventures of Sinbad. It's based on some of the back story information that the show's creator Ed Naha told in an interview years ago.
Story: Maeve is returning home to Eire and is afraid of meeting up with Cael, her friend growing up and her fiancee in her later teen years.
Meanwhile, Cael has become a powerful man and is anticipating seeing her again.
When they were young Maeve's father always wanted her to marry him, even though they fought all the time. Then, on their wedding day, the village was attacked by pirates. Cael did nothing to help Maeve when she was taken hostage. After that Maeve left Eire to find a magician who would help her save her brother and she never looked back.
