Christian "exploitation" trailers
Well, it ain't exploitation strictly speaking, but these low-budget productions were made, distributed, and played in a similiar fashion to all the other genres (except that the karate and porn films never played church halls).
Rare clips like these can be found on the Media Funhouse blog, located at: mediafunhouse.blogspot.com
The films that the company called Mark IV made drew on a variety of sources, copying plot twists and tropes from the afterschool specials, old "Lassie" and "Flicka" pics, The Twilight Zone, the James Bond series, and countless other mainstream items. I'm constantly mesmerized by the Xtian approximation of mass culture which is actually pretty spot-on (see Xtian contemporary music-vids), although it lacks, again, the sex appeal and must of course throw in a nice little message about Xt comin' to redeem us all by the last reel. Included in these clips is a doctor drama that seems insanely similar to Albert Brooks' brilliant doctor-show spoof for the first season of SNL (included in his coming attractions for NBC's fall season). We move on to a suicide "message drama," an abysmal Xtian comedy, and a wide-open-spaces kiddie pic. Ah, the '70s...

Defending Your Life (1991) clip 2-11
Defending Your Life is a 1991 romantic comedy/fantasy movie about a man who must justify his life-long lack of assertiveness after he dies and arrives in the afterlife. The film was written, directed by, and stars Albert Brooks. It also stars Meryl Streep, Rip Torn and Lee Grant. Shirley MacLaine has a cameo appearance as herself, acting as the holographic host of the "Past Lives Pavilion", a reference to her publicly known belief in reincarnation. The movie was filmed entirely in and around Los Angeles, California. Despite its comedic overtones, Defending Your Life contains elements of drama and allegory.
Daniel Miller (Brooks) dies in a car accident and is sent to the afterlife. He arrives in Judgment City, a purgatory-like waiting area populated by the recently deceased of the western half of the United States, where he is put "on trial for being afraid."
As it is explained to Daniel, people from Earth use so little of their brains (3-5%), that they spend most of their lives dealing with their fears. "When you use more than 5% of your brain, you don't want to be on Earth anymore," explains Bob Diamond (Rip Torn), Daniel's defense attorney. If the court determines he has conquered his fears, he will be sent on to the next phase of existence, where he will be able to use more of his brain, and thus be able to experience more of what the universe has to offer. Otherwise, his soul will be reincarnated on Earth to live another life in another attempt at moving past fear and in the process advance up the universe's proverbial food chain.

Over The Line - Part 4.2 - Things Go Over The Line
Sean and Tyler wake up kidnapped in a foreign country. My fav part of this is when we don't cut out the blooper from the film, we just change the color to black and white, for some reason even though we did something that caused us to break character I chose to keep it in the film, while it does not follow the plot, the energy and essence of this out take made it fit into the craziness of the fictional scene. It's amazing we didn't get arrested for the shit will did in Mexico. I would like to now say I am sorry to the poor lady and her baby, I was deep into acting and didn't realize what I was doing, forgive me.

TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE TEASER TRAILER
Twilight Zone: The Movie is a 1983 film produced by Steven Spielberg as a theatrical version of The Twilight Zone, a 1950s and 60s TV series created by Rod Serling. It starred Dan Aykroyd, Albert Brooks, Vic Morrow and John Lithgow. The film remade three classic episodes of the original series and included one original story. John Landis directed the prologue and the first segment, Spielberg directed the second, Joe Dante the third, and George Miller directed the final segment. The film is perhaps best known for the helicopter accident which took the lives of actor Vic Morrow and two illegally hired child actors, although in the subsequent trial no one was held criminally culpable for the accident.

I feel like I'm Slipping...
From "Broadcast News" (1997) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092699/
AARON Okay. Let's do me.
JANE Sure.
AARON Okay. I feel like I'm slipping but do people who are actually slipping feel that way or is it always the really good people who are moving up who invariably think they're slipping because their standards are so high?
JANE This conversation is not worthy of you.
AARON I'd give anything if that were true.
JANE (laughing) Good night.

Hot Wheels Animated TV Series (intro)
Originally aired September 6, 1969 - September 4, 1971 on ABC-TV.
The leader of the Hot Wheels Racing Club was Jack "Rabbit" Wheeler, a Metro City High School student with a reputation as the best car driver in his town. His father was Mike Wheeler, a former racing champ who had retired after an auto accident. Jack's girlfriend was Janet Martin. The Hot Wheels Racing Club members included Mickey Barnes, an apprentice mechanic; Mickey's girlfriend, Ardeth; Kip, the son of an African ambassador; and Tank Mallory, the mechanic at Wheeler Motors, a garage run by Jack's father. Doc Warren, a veteran mechanic, also belonged to the Hot Wheels Club as an honorary member and mentor. The Hot Wheels Racing Club hung out at Mother's Soda Shop, operated by Mother O'Hare. A rival car club, Dexter's Demons, was led by Dexter Carter. Dexter had been banned from the Hot Wheels Club due to his reckless behavior. Each show typically climaxed in a wild race in which the Hot Wheels won. To offset any bad influences that the wild racing may have had on the young viewers, each show ended with educational driving tips.
Hot Wheels was based on a product by sponsor Mattel Toys. Mattel and producer Ken Snyder had earlier teamed up on The Funny Company series. Because of it's close connection with Mattel's Hot Wheels line of toy cars, the Federal Communications Commission demanded that the opening to the Hot Wheels cartoon, along with any references in the cartoon to the Hot Wheels title and any mention of the makes of cars, all be counted as commercial time. The FCC was, in effect, ruling that the whole cartoon show was a commercial for the Hot Wheels toy cars and not an entertainment program. This led ABC to cancel the popular series after only two years on the air. The FCC ruling remained in effect until 1983, when a new lineup in the FCC ended the restrictions.
Ironically, the secondary cast voice-performers have had greater renown than the main characters: * Casey Kasem * Albert Brooks
