Sign the Animal Bill of Rights http://www.aldf.org/billofrights/

From Animal Legal Defense Fund - ALDF - Through the Animal Bill of Rights, ALDF are working to show Congress a groundswell of support for legislation that protects animals and recognizes their rights. Ultimately, ALDF hope the petition will be a bill. In the meantime, the thousands of signatures on this petition send a clear message to our legislators that Americans strongly support legal protection for animals. When animal-related legislation is proposed, Congress will remember the huge number of signatures on the Animal Bill of Rights. With that in mind, they will cast a vote for the animals.

"Aware of the suffering caused by the destruction of life, I am committed to cultivating compassion and learning ways to protect the lives of people, animals, plants, and minerals. I am determined not to kill, not to let others kill, and not to support any act of killing in the world, in my thinking, and in my way of life."

Animal Rights Bill - Tom Regan summing up

Does the Animal Kingdom need a Bill of Rights? The question poised at a debate at the Royal institute (UK) in 1989. This is my last vid of the debate and features remarks made by the opposition. Mary Warnock a philosopher from Cambridge University (yes Cambridge). Stephen Rose Professor of Biology Who works for the British medical and Science council and Germaine Greer writer, femminist. These people are all Phds, the best the anti Animal Rights brigade could muster. Watch and enjoy how the famous American Philosopher Dr Tom Regan destroys their arguments.

Human Wrongs

A short movie demonstrating that animals should have rights. Philosophical reason tells us now that animal rights are more or less ethically unassailable. However, sometimes we don't need reason, sometimes we can just see that things are wrong and i hope this video demonstrates that too.
Thanks to the uploader of the Tom Regan and Richard Ryder speeches from the animal bill of rights debate, i took the excerpts of the speech i use from them.
