La trama: Suba (F. Murray Abraham) è un uomo misterioso che si reca in una sala di scherma di New York City per insegnare la spada. Il Maestro della sala, Alexander Villard (Eric Roberts) è però molto severo e utilizza metodi piuttosto "violenti" con i suoi allievi, e non permette a Suba di insegnare; gli dà però la possibiltà di lavorare all'interno della sala finchè non avrà rinfrescato le sue conoscenze schermistiche un pò arrugginite. Suba prende confidenza, e tra una visione e l'altra che lo tormentano la notte come il giorno, inizia a prendere delle lezioni private nell'orario di chiusura, fino a sentirsi pronto per insegnare lui stesso ad un gruppo di principianti. Si nota così la differenza tra l'insegnamento "schematico e tradizionale" verso la vittoria ad ogni costo del Maestro Villard e quello "divertente e fuori dalle righe" di Suba; differenza che culminerà in una gara interna al circolo dove si scoprirà la verità sul legame tra i due maestri e sul loro oscuro passato, che li porterà ad un duello all'ultimo sangue davanti agli allievi impietriti.

BMW films - 'Ticker'
The Driver drives a diplomat (Don Cheadle) who carries a mysrerious case while under helicopter attack. The Driver manages to crash the chopper, but then orders the diplomat what is in the case, which have been shot. It is revealed that the diplomat was ordered to deliver the case to a hospital and its contents are only a heart. The heart being for a foreign peace keeper; if this man dies a new rule of tyranny will take over. The case is delivered and the tyrant backs down. The Driver leaves for another mission after helping save a country. Ticker features brief cameos by Ray Liotta, F. Murray Abraham, Robert Patrick, Clifton Powell and Dennis Haysbert as US agents.
