My Turtle
This is what they call a 長壽龜, or "long-lived turtle". He's only 3 years old now. You count the rings on his back like you would a tree. In the wild they live around 150 or so, and with careful care at home, they can go 300. When I'm 70 or so I'll buy him some black clothes - that way if I leave this world he can take my body to the funeral, and wear the same clothes for his next two or three owners.
