Keith Carradine - I'm Easy - Malvasio
I was watching Dexter when I saw Keith Carradine and it reminded me of this song which he wrote and sang in Robert Altman's movie Nashville. It won the Oscar for best song in 1975. The ironic thing about this love song is that Carradine in the movie is a manipulative womanizer and uses this song to try to con the women he is involved with.

*Warning* If you are queasy, or do not want to see an animal slaughtered for food, Please DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO! I didn't know what to call this vid? It is from the 1981 movie 'Southern Comfort' with Keith Carradine as one of the main characters. I remember seeing the movie in the theater and thinking to myself that I kind of liked this tune they are playing. I have no clue as to who they are, or what they are saying though, but the melody lines and the dudes voice are, to me anyway, what makes it worthy of posting here. I guess a good name for the music type would be Cajun Country Music? Anyway, I am just a connoisseur of good music in general, and if it sounds good to my ears, I'm gonna remember it and try to find it. I won't do a plug for any major retail chain store to say I finally found the DVD and it was the best buy that I ever saw in the discount bin. Some may not like it, but I only upload vids so I can watch stuff while at work, since my puter there doesn't have a DVD drive. Thanks

Here's the terrific Keith Carradine - giving one of the most underrated performances in years - and the wonderful Dee Hoty - singing one of my Will faves... This clip is from the beautifully shot, but unreleased in the US (I believe), video version of the show, shown in Japan due to the investment in the show by a Japanese TV company.

Some fantastic acting on show from Timothy Olyphant, here, even though he doesn't utter a word in this whole clip. The look on his face says it all. I've never seen someone convey a look of anger and sadness at the same time, so well.
