The First Show: Why The Brian James Show? Because...
The First Show Brian and James siting on folding chairs talking about many things that are about lives.
former host of MTV The Tom Green Show; and author of Hollywood Causes Cancer. ... Call the show with Skype: tomgreenlive. Problems with the live stream Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Elvis Presley, Billy Joel; performing a diverse selection - from rock 'n roll to opera Some of Green's most notable skits include pretending to "hump" a dead moose,[1] having an X-rated lesbian scene painted on his father's car (labeled the "Slut Mobile"), drinking milk by sucking on a cow's teat, and putting a cow head in his parents' bed while they slept because his father was a fan As an example of his audacity, in a March 2000 episode, Tom brought Monica Lewinsky to his parents' home in Canada to search for fabric for her new business venture in designing handbags. In a similar vein to his later faux attempt at an on-air marriage to Drew Barrymore on Saturday Night Live, Tom and Monica fooled local reporters with an "important announcement" which turned out to be nothing more than a request for more fabric for Monica's business Brosnan, thinking Green was a journalist, advised him not to give up his day job. Green also did many segments humiliating his co-host and longtime friend Glenn Humplik; even after the pair had become well-known, Humplik continued working at his phone company job, fearing that his entertainment career might not last In 2003, he also had a nightly talk show The New Tom Green Show, in the style of Jay Leno, at midnight on MTV. The show lasted several months, and was much more mainstream, and mimicked his Tom Green Live format After the show moved to MTV, Green gained fame in the United States. This fame soon netted Green roles in several Hollywood movies, including Road Trip, Charlie's Angels, Freddy Got Fingered (which he also directed), and Stealing Harvard. Freddy Got Fingered "won" in five categories at the 2001 Golden Raspberry Awards, given to the worst movies of the year Green's increasing fame made it harder for him to ambush people on the streets, leading him to target mostly senior citizens and non-English speakers. After he was diagnosed with testicular cancer in March 2000, he stopped production on his TV show, but he continued to appear on the channel via reruns and other promotional materials. He made a one-hour special on his ordeal with cancer, including graphic footage of his own surgery. The episode received wide critical acclaim for revealing a vulnerable, human side of an otherwise juvenile television personality. In March 2002 he also starred in and directed a one-hour special called The Tom Green Subway Monkey Hour, where he tormented strangers in Japan Green starred in a children's TV movie, Bob the Butler, and he has made guest appearances on various kid shows America's Got Talent. He rode a skateboard through a flaming hoop and appeared to be on fire for a few seconds and put out with extinguishers Marriage to Drew Barrymore Adam Sandler Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, Courtney Love, and Molly Shannon

Lords Of The New Church - Becoming A Nuisance Live 1988
Super rare black and white live footage of The Lords of the New Church led by original members Stiv Bator, Brian James and Dave Tregunna along with "new" drummer Danny Fury performing "Becoming A Nuisance" in Germany during their last tour in 1988 before splitting up.
Becoming A Nuisance was meant for a planned 4th studio album but the album was never recorded due to the band breaking up at the end of this tour. The song was never released on the post-breakup live Lords album "Second Coming" but turned up a couple years after this tour on Brian James first post-Lords self-titled solo album.

The Lords Of The New Church - Russian Roulette Live 1986
The Lords of the New Church featuring original members the late Stiv Bator, Brian James, Nicky Turner along with new (at the time) bassist Grant Flemming, 2nd guitarist Alistar Symmons and possibly keyboard player Mark Taylor perform "Russian Roulette" at Fenders Ballroom in Long Beach, CA on 3/29/86. I was at this show which also featured a very drunk Guns n' Roses as opening band (Duff passed out in front of his amp midway through their set). As the viewer can see, the place is small, hot and really packed with rowdy fans and the band had to play on a very narrow stage with only a few spotlights! Also check out the shoves Stiv and Brian trade off with one another near the end of the song.
Look for much more very rare Lords footage in the coming weeks!

The Lords Of The New Church - Things Go Bump - Live 1988
The great punk/goth/rock band Lords of the New Church play the song "Things Go Bump" from the "Psycho Sex" EP at The Marquee Club in London only months before they broke up. For 1988, the band featured new drummer Danny Fury who replaced original drummer Nicky Turner. The sound quality is a bit rough, it's almsot all Brian's guitar that you hear, the vocals are almost non-existant. As seen in the video, there's some weird tension between Stiv Bator and guitarist Brian James. Brian appears loaded and having a tough time keeping up with the song and Stiv looks burned out and pissed. The Lords may have been sloppy and fucked up during a lot of shows, but they were never dull. Lots more ultra-rare Lords live footage coming in the following weeks.
