One Night With Starrbooty
RuPaul, Miss Starrbooty herself, was gracious enough to allow me to tag along with her and the cast of STARRBOOTY to film a behind-the-scenes video for my (somewhat neglected of late)channels on Youtube and WOW-TV (Memoirs of a Club Kid). Everyone met up in Philly for the screening of Starrbooty at the Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. I had full and total access! I rode along with Ru and the cast in the OH-SO-CHIC Limo-Van from that was furnished for the night to shuttle us between hotels, theater, and the after party. I also got to catch a few shots of the cast-interviews that were being filmed for use as Bonus Features for the upcoming, planned release of the DVD in the Fall! At times, I was giggling so hard I couldn't hold the camera straight. There are some hilarious and sexy appearances by Gay Porn legends Tom Judson aka Gus Mattox, and "The Prince of Porn" himself, Michael Lucas, and hunky director Mike Ruiz. At the end of the night, somewhere around 2 am, after the press had finally all left. I was about to wrap up my video equipment and call it a night. When, much to my surprise Ru called me over and honored me with a live, solo, a cappella, performance of the Starrbooty Soundtrack song "Hey Booty" Even at that late at night, Ru still looked great, and she sang beautifully! It really seemed like it was something just for me. But through the power of video and YouTube, it can be One Night With Starrbooty, that's just for you, too!
