Babylon 5: The Rise and Fall of Londo Mollari
This is a video montage of the rise and fall of Londo Mollari from the best scifi TV show (IMHO), Babylon 5. Londo is an incredibly tragic character that reaps the consequences of the choices he made throughout the series. He is one of my top two favorite characters in the series - the other being his nemesis, G'Kar. All his choices were made for the restoration of his home world, Centauri Prime, to its past glory, but in the end, it cost him his freedom and ultimately his life.
Since the video length was limited to 10 minutes, I had to pick and choose what to include. I am sure there are many different ways to depict Londo's life. For me, I have decided to have Lady Morella's prophecy as the pivotal point of this video. Everything prior to her scene represents Londo's destructive choices and their consequences; everything thereafter represents his redemptive choices. At the end, I could not help but include the incredibly poignant reconciliation scene where G'Kar forgives Londo. If anything, this truly represents Londo's ultimate redemption.
