Spinal Tap (Movie Review)
Largely improvised by director Rob Reiner and his cast, This is Spinal Tap looks and sounds like a "real" documentary, with Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and Christopher Guest as David St. Hubbins, Derek Smalls, and Nigel Tufnel, the key members of a going-nowhere British Heavy Metal band called Spinal Tap. Movie Review.
Mockumentary - Normally a comedic, usually parody, fiction film in the style of a documentary.

2007 "Acts of Love" - Presented by Autism Speaks
Autism Speaks hosted the fifth annual Acts of Love event on October 15, 2007 at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. "Acts of Love: A Celebration of Children and Those Who Love Them" was presented by Cadillac and welcomed a lively crowd of over 500 to one of the city's premier theater venues. An ensemble cast performed an array of readings and quotes all in celebration of children. Through ticket sales, sponsorship and donations the event has raised more than $150,000 for autism research and treatments. Gil TK See highlights from the Acts of Love event - YouTube video ~ 1 minute Birmingham, Richard Cox, James Franco, Ian Hart, Wendie Malick, Michael McKean, Dermot Mulroney, Ming-Na, Annette O'Toole, Barry Shabaka Henley, Stephen Tobolowsky, Lea Thompson, and Lorraine Toussaintformed a stunning ensemble cast for this year's show. At this one night only event, the audience was treated to readings of excerpts from Sigmund Freud, Bill Cosby, Audrey Hepburn, a short story by Stephan Tobolowsky himself, to name a few. Voice-over artist Don LaFontaine wove the readings together with his world-famous baritone. Gary Dourdan led a jazz ensemble that filled the house with rhythm. The singing of Nita Whitaker, Julie Delgato and Valerie Pinkston mesmerized the actors and audience alike, and as the show came to an end, Nita brought the house down with her gorgeous rendition of "Aren't you all our children after all/"

Oh, and in case you can't quite make him out at the beginning, Emo's the one with the plaid shirt and black vest seen dancing.

Spinal Tap - Big Bottom
The bigger the cushion, the sweeter the pushin' That's what I said The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand Or so I have read
My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo I'd like to sink her with my pink torpedo
Big bottom, big bottom Talk about bum cakes, my girl's got 'em Big bottom drive me out of my mind How could I leave this behind?
I met her on Monday, twas my lucky bun day You know what I mean I love her each weekday, each Velveeta cheek day You know what I mean
My love gun's loaded and she's in my sights Big game is waiting there inside her tights, yeah
Big bottom, big bottom Talk about mud flaps, my girl's got 'em Big bottom drive me out of my mind How could I leave this behind?
_________________________________________ This Is Spınal Tap was the soundtrack to the This Is Spınal Tap, released in 1984. It was re-released in 2000 with lyrics and two versions of "Christmas with the Devil" as bonus tracks. The cover art is identical to that of the fictional album Smell the Glove featured in the film.
Track listing: 1. "Hell Hole" -- 3:07 2. "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight" -- 2:38 3. "Heavy Duty" -- 4:28 4. "Rock & Roll Creation" -- 4:08 5. "America" -- 3:31 6. "Cups and Cakes" -- 1:33 7. "Big Bottom" -- 3:32 8. "Sex Farm" -- 3:20 9. "Stonehenge" -- 4:36 10. "Gimme Some Money" -- 2:26 11. "(Listen to the) Flower People" -- 2:38
Noticeably missing tracks from the film include "All The Way Home", "Lick My Love Pump", the Jazz Improvisation performance, and the band's acapella performance of "Heartbreak Hotel". "All The Way Home", however, did later appear on the Break Like The Wind album.
Credits David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean) - Lead guitar and lead vocals Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest) - Lead guitar, Mandolin and vocals Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) - Lead bass and vocals Viv Savage (David Kaff) - Keyboards and Vocals Mick Shrimpton (Ric Parnell) - Drums
