Piranha (trailer)
"Piranha" is a New World Pictures homage to (read: complete and total ripoff of) Universal's blockbuster "Jaws". Actually, it's a much better movie than it has any right to be, thanks in large part to a great cast of B-movie vets that includes Kevin McCarthy, Keenan Wynn, Dick Miller, and Barbara Steele. Unbelievably, the script was written by John Sayles! Once again New World makes a flick that defines the term "drive-in movie". Cheesy. Campy. Fun.

Gremlins Music Video (Jerry Goldsmith)
After a month off from making videos I decided to get to work once more. This time with a music video of 'Gremlins' (1984). This is one of my favorite movies ever, and great for the Christmas season. The movie is based on a script written by a young Chris Columbus who sold it to Steven Spielberg. The story was a lot darker back then, but when Spielberg asked Joe Dante to direct the project took a whole different turn. Dante discovered how funny the creatures could be and decided to make it a horror/comedy.
'Gremlins' is about an inventor named Randal Peltzer (Hoyt Axton) who buys his sons Billy (Zach Galligan) a special gift for Christmas. A Mogwai called Gizmo. It comes with three simple rules; don't expose it to sunlight or it will die, don't get it wet and most importantly never feed it after midnight. Of course it is bound to go wrong and within days the town of Kingston Falls is overrun by little green monsters; Gremlins!
The soundtrack was composed and conducted by the famed Jerry Goldmsith. This must be one of his most creative music ever, with the touching Gizmo theme, the quirky town theme and the memorable Gremlin Rag.

Piranha movie clip (1978)
"Well.. at least there aren't sharks in here." Starring Kevin McCarthy and Barbara Steele, the sophomore effort for director Joe Dante, a future protégé of Steven Spielberg, this low-budget, high-camp horror spoof of Jaws (1977) features several chiller stars of yesteryear. Insurance investigator Maggie McKeown (Heather Menzies) is dispatched to find two missing teenage hikers near Lost River Lake. She hires surly backwoods drunkard Paul Grogan (Bradford Dillman) to serve as her guide. Searching the area, they find an abandoned military facility. The only resident is Dr. Robert Hoak (Kevin McCarthy), former head of a top-secret project to breed piranha for use in the Vietnam War. The project was closed down years ago, but Hoak has continued raising a deadly strain of the flesh-eating fish. When Hoak is knocked unconscious, Maggie and Paul accidentally release the piranha into a local river, which leads to the lake where a children's summer camp and a newly opened tourist resort will provide plenty of fish food for the hungry predators. Maggie and Paul race to warn the locals, but their pleas fall on skeptical ears, such as those of resort owner Buck Gardner (Dick Miller) — until the piranha reach the swimmers. Piranha (1978) was co-written by John Sayles, making his motion picture debut.

PrizeFighter SEGA CD Intro
Yeah ok FMV games game in for a lot of stick, but here's a Genuine FMV classic and imo pushes the envelope as much as possibly when it comes to FMV games . This game will have you in stitches with some of the amazing over the top antics the fighters get up too, it also includes the best gamming quite I think I've ever heard too, "You want to stay pretty like me kid, don't get in the Ring".
Overall a brilliant game and the best use of FMV I've seen on a technically level , a classic as great game to boot.
BTW , The great Dick Miller also appears inthe this game :)

1963 Jack Nicholson & Boris Karloff Roger Corman Horror Film
One of Jack Nicholson's earliest films, The Terror takes viewers on a trip by following a sensuous apparition (Sandra Knight) through an ancient castle with a suicidal Baron (Boris Karloff). Nicholson plays Lieutenant Duvalier alongside Karloff, the undisputed king of Hollywood horror. Add that the film is helmed by veteran horror director Roger Corman and all the necessary elements are present for a thrilling romp of fear and mystery. The story begins when Nicholson is disturbed by a the beautiful figure of Sandra Knight that keeps appearing before him. He eventually follows her to the Castle, hoping to unravel the conundrum. What he finds is a despondent and self-destructive Baron who is being tortured by a supernatural force! A prototypical Cormon chiller, The Terror delivers.
