Tullybridge is a one horse town in the middle of nowhere in the Scottish Highlands, nothing much happens here until 3 friends Fitz( Jamie Sives) Nellie(Iain Robertson) and Seany( Kevin McKidd) accidently find "GOLD". This discovery gets around and they get thier truck seized by the local big man Harry ( Jimmy Chisholm) with the gold inside, the gold they were on thier way to sell to the Antique Dealer Frankie the Fence ( Dougray Scott). They manage to get the gold back out of the truck and finally get it to Frankie only to find it is worthless " FOOLS GOLD" BUT the ring one of the friends wears is not so worthless to Frankie, he makes and offer they can't refuse and all ends well.
