"Mil y una noches", por Yoshitaka Amano (1ª parte)
Uno de mis pintores preferidos, un artistazo como él solo jeje. Dibujó los personajes y escenarios de los antiguos Final Fantasy y aún hoy sigue haciéndolo aunque en segundo plano. También ilustra libros y pinta sus propios cuadros, creo que tiene algunas de sus obras en museos de Japón.
Esta es su interpretación del famoso cuento "Mil y una noches".

VAMPIRE HUNTER D: BLOODLUST ANIME MUSIC VIDEO ("tooku made")
From the brilliant imagination of legendary illustrator Yoshitaka Amano & creativity of Yoshiaki Kawajiri, maker of Ninja Scroll, Animatrix, Highlander: Search of Vengeance & Wicked City, comes this dynamic animated feature. Set it the distant future, the Earth is a devastated reflection of its former self. Monsters roam the land. Vampires are the leading caste. Out of the ashes of this desolation comes an unlikely hero. A half-human, half-vampire who goes by the name of D. He is a vampire hunter and his services are hired by a wealthy man whose daughter Charlotte has been kidnaped by the vampire Meier Linc. To retrieve her by any means is his mission. However, D has competition in the Markus Brothers - a group of vampire hunters composed of Borgoff, Kyle, Nolt, Grove and Leila.
Fresh from the success of Ninja Scroll, legendary animator Yoshiaki Kawajiri began work on Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. Based on the illustrations of Yoshitaka Amano, Bloodlust was targeted initially for an U.S. audience (the Japanese language version came several years later). It is thoroughly anime in style, and exemplifies Kawajiri's dynamic narrative vision.
The melodic & upbeat song, Tokuu Made, was performed by the Japanese band DO AS INFINITY. It was, strangely enough, not included in the US DVD release of the film. We've decided to make this music video to the tune of this song, which was one of the redeeming factors of an otherwise grim & stark gothic horror adventure. The images are stylistic and the music is truly adventurous.

~Fayde Wind~ A Collection of Yoshitaka Amano's Artwork
I was as diverse as I could be with the selection of the pieces. Yes, I did use a song by the Black Mages that was originally from Final Fantasy VI, BUT that doesn't mean all of his artwork is Final Fantasy. I just thought the music went well with the video. Yes, there are some FF pieces, but very few. As I said I tried to get as diverse of range in works as I could. Enjoy!
