Purgatory - Sam Shepard (The Townspeople Pick Up Guns)
The Old West meets the Twilight Zone as a band of desperadoes led by Blackjack Britton (Eric Roberts), on the run after a failed robbery, ride into the town of Refuge.
There, neither the sheriff nor his deputy carry a sidearm. There's no jail either, because shooting, carousing, and bad blood are not in the town's character. What peaceful folks live there? Wild Bill Hickok (Sam Shepard), Doc Holiday (Randy Quaid), Jesse James (J.D. Souther), Billy the Kid (Donnie Wahlberg). All long dead. All mysteriously given a chance to undo their violent pasts in Purgatory. All put to a stern test when Blackjack and his ornery gang ride into town.

True West by Sam Shepard - Typewriter Smashing Scene - 1of2
COMMENT+RATE+SUBSCRIBE THANX
In this highly charged scene Greg plays Lee and I play Austin. We scattered various garbage around the floor with beer and liquor bottles in the mix. Greg purchased an old typewriter from the salvation army, I (borrowed) a few toasters from my apartment and we we're ready to go. This was played for our school's showcase which is the night the students put on the a scene or act they've been working on for the class throughout the semester. A few humorous comical points to notice are 1. Greg smashing the typewriter a bit too early 2. My toaster baking skills and American Idol caliber singing. 3. The fact that the toasters spark in part 2 of this scene which makes some of the audience jumpy. 4. The amazing fact that the toast spontaneously jumps up out of the toaster the very moment we "end scene."

Savage Love
This video was done as a project for our senior english class. It is based upon the play by Sam Shepard. Note: In our class, our teacher would sometimes euphemistically refer to sex as "Hungry Hungry Hippos"
Despite it's professional appearance, the video was filmed on just 2 weekends, and edited all in one night. Not to mention it was the first time I had ever used Adobe Premier Elements, or for that matter done any video editing whatsoever.
While other groups took a serious approach, we did not.
